Key features of the DJI Air 3 Intelligent Flight Battery include:
Auto-Discharging Function: Automatically discharges to 96% after three days and 60% after nine days of inactivity to prevent swelling.
Balanced Charging: Automatically balances the voltages of battery cells during charging.
Overcharge Protection: Stops charging automatically once fully charged.
Temperature Detection: Only charges when the temperature is between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).
Battery Cell Damage Protection: Displays a warning in the app if a damaged battery cell is detected.
Hibernation Mode: Switches off after 5 to 20 seconds of inactivity to save power and enters hibernation mode after six hours if below 5% charge.
Safety Features: Includes overcurrent protection (stops charging if excess current is detected), over-discharge protection (stops discharging to prevent excess discharge when not in use), and short circuit protection (cuts power supply if a short circuit is detected).
Communication: Transmits information about voltage, capacity, and current to the aircraft.
Compatibility: This battery is compatible with the DJI Air 3 and DJI Air 3S. When using the DJI Air 3 Intelligent Flight Battery, DJI Air 3S does not support the Off-State QuickTransfer feature.
