DJI Zenmuse V1 drone speaker audio tests

Check out this video demonstrating the audio capabilities of the DJI Zenmuse V1 speaker.

We put the payload's three broadcast modes to the test, trying:

• Record and broadcast: Record and transmit messages to the speaker using the DJI Pilot 2 app.

• Text-to-speech: Text can be converted to speech via the DJI Pilot 2 app and transmitted to the speaker.

• Audio file playback: Local audio files can be transmitted to the speaker for playback.

We tested the record and broadcast and text-to-speech at distances of 100m and 200m, and then deployed the drone from 300m away to showcase audio file playback.

And as the video shows - the volume of the audio is impressive.

The speaker - which has an effective range of up to 500metres - is compatible with the DJI M350 RTK and the M300 RTK when used with the DJI RC Plus.

The V1 can be mounted to any gimbal connector of the single downward gimbal, dual downward gimbals, or the single upward gimbal and can synchronise with other gimbal-equipped payloads.

This payload - ideal for scenarios like public safety and emergency response - has an IP54 rating, can operate in temperatures from -20°C to 50°C, and weighs just 0.69kg.

It was launched alongside the DJI Zenmuse S1 spotlight - also for the DJI M350 RTK and M300 RTK (with RC Plus).
